The correspondence study in Arabic is an achievement of the Swiss Open University.
Geneva – the Swiss Open University teaches and issues university degrees such as Bachelor, Master and PhD.
The university seeks to establish strong bonds with Arabic countries in order to enable students to profit from the Swiss Management course that has a high quality.
In 2013 an Arabic Section was founded.
The university administration realized the importance of Arabic tutoring when teaching students from Arabic countries. Thus, to accomplish the academic mission of supplying new talented leaders to the world of business and management. Leaders, who are able to tackle the challenges those specific fields are confronted with. The administration is anxious to constantly develop the Arabic curriculum in order to meet the high standards of Swiss education.
In addition to the listed Arabic section among the fields of study the university unites correspondence and open studies. The university supplies the students with curriculum contents, that are posted in paper to them. Besides the correspondence program weekly lectures are offered. The attention is focused on the single student by allocating a specific time frame to each students where explanations can be given and questions regarding the program can be raised.
Due to the increasing interest in management and business sciences and the leading position of Switzerland in this field, Swiss universities and colleges have become an objective for students from all over the world. The Arabic section welcomed first students in 2014.
The open Swiss university is the only university that has implanted virtual learning as teaching method. Lectures are broadcasted live (Audio and Image) via modern communication devices. The student can see the lecturer, communicate with him and ask questions.
It is important to address the central differences between correspondence studies, studies via internet and virtual studies. The student should be aware of these differences before choosing the field of study and registering at an university.

After registration, the student can enter the university library where all lectures are available in audio and image. Also, a large number of books and encyclopaedia that the student will need in order to prepare for exams.
